WaveScan is a generic application that demonstrates how to obtain signal strength and noise information about access points on a wireless LAN. The program is written in Borland Delphi 6 for MS Windows 2000 and XP and may work with some Agere and Lucent cards and drivers.
The primary purpose of this work is to explore the possibility of position tracking within a building equipped with many wireless network access points.
